Faer Isles Distillery

Created by enthusiasts, Faer Isles Distillery has from day one been fuelled by passion. Entrepreneurship and a devotion for flavour and spirits has driven this project from the day they founded the first whisky appreciation society on the islands until today when they are producing whisky and several other quality spirits based on local botanicals and culinary traditions.

Their North Atlantic Dry Gin and their North Atlantic Akvavit were released on the local market (Faroe Islands) in November 2021 and will be available in the Nordic countries and the EU late 2022. Faer Isles Whisky is not expected to be available until Q1 2026.

Using Himanthalia elongata seaweed as its signatory ingredient, this gin has a distinct, yet mild maritime flavour. Seaweed is a super sustainable botanical, as it is abundant around the islands in the middle of the North Atlantic. Smoothed with rhubarb and other local botanicals creates a refreshing sipping gin.
