About Golden Carolus Whiskey

Molenberg Distilled is the first distillery founded in Belgium. In fact, it was so that the distillery was established in 1637 by the Van Breedam family, which also owns the oldest brewery in Belgium, namely Het Anker.

The Molenberg distillery began to decay over the years, and in 2009 it was therefore decided to begin a major renovation of the distiller, which has contributed to the installation of copper pot stills, as the first in Belgium. This meant the beginning of a new tradition.
