The Barton 1792 Distillery
operates on the site of the historic Tom Moore Distillery, established in 1879 near the "Tom Moore Spring", the same spring we draw our iron-free limestone water from today. The 192-acre distillery is home to beautiful wildlife and many historic buildings, including our still house and 28 aging warehouses. The legendary ‘Warehouse Z’ stands tall on the western bluff enjoying full summer sun and optimal air-circulation for aging bourbon whiskey. It is in this warehouse that 1792 Ridgemont Reserve ages to the peak of maturity
1792: When it came to statehood, 1792 was Kentucky's year. When it comes to smooth handcrafted bourbon, this will be yours.
To commemorate this significant year, we proudly offer 1792 Ridgemont Reserve Barrel Select—The official toasting bourbon of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival®. Our rye recipe Bourbon Whiskey yields a more complex, full bodied, multi-dimensional taste (see tasting notes). Each bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve is handcrafted in small batches, bottled at 93.7 proof and aged 8 years in new charred oak barrels. The result is a distinctively smooth pour, equally worthy of rare occasions and everyday enjoyment — add 1792 to your spirits collection and enjoy the
"Toast of Kentucky".
