The Thylandia distillery was started in 2008 by two ambitious young men from Thisted, Morten Bang Andersen and Ole Larsen. From the start, Morten and Ole launched 3 spice schnapps, which have since been followed up with a number of exciting products - including Thylandia Rum and Thylandia Gin.

The rum is carefully selected from oak barrels with 22-year-old rum, after which it is sailed across the Atlantic in casks. In Denmark, the rum is further aged in the barrels, which adds a little extra sweetness to give it the perfect finish.
