Auchroisk 10 years Flora & Fauna Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky 43%
In 1992, the then United Distillers (now called Diageo and the world's largest spirits company) started the
Flora & Fauna series, which at the time consisted of 26 different versions of Scotch Single Malt whisky to show the vast differences in Scotland's whisky regions. Bottled at 43% for most of the bottles, but a few were also bottled at Cask Strength, i.e. full cask strength, and some versions also came in wooden boxes.
Beautiful, citrusy flavor, aroma and body. Relatively dry and spicy with hints of licorice, tobacco, orange peel and white pepper. A little smoke is also mixed in, as well as salted caramel, nuts and pepper.
