Kilkerran Glengyle Heavily Peated Batch 14 Single Campbeltown Malt Whisky 58.3%

Kilkerran Glengyle Heavily Peated, bottled at 58.3%, was released in 2026. This powerful peat‑driven whisky is created from a cask mix of 90% ex‑bourbon and 10% ex‑sherry. Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 14 is a bold and characterful Campbeltown Single Malt from Glengyle Distillery in Scotland. As part of the popular Heavily Peated series, it is known for its intense smoke profile and complex layers of flavour. With its high strength and balanced maturation, it delivers a distinctive combination of sweetness, fruit and deep peat smoke.

The whisky comes from Campbeltown, one of Scotland’s most historic whisky regions, where craftsmanship and tradition remain central. Glengyle Distillery, part of the Springbank family J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd, produces Kilkerran with a focus on authenticity and quality. Everything is made locally, without added colour and without chill‑filtration, ensuring a natural and genuine flavour experience.

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 opens with a rich and expressive aroma of warm honey, toasted grains and a hint of smoked meat. The deep peat smoke is accompanied by subtle maritime notes that underline its classic Campbeltown character.

On the palate, sweet and full flavours unfold: lemon cake, ripe melon and a savoury, lightly salted meat note that blends beautifully with the intense peat smoke. The texture is full‑bodied, and the 58.3% ABV adds warmth and concentration.

The finish is long and well‑balanced, combining peat smoke, gentle sweetness and a buttery, creamy mouthfeel that rounds off the experience elegantly.
