As part of the popular Heavily Peated series, it is known for its intense smoke profile and complex layers of flavour. With its high strength and balanced maturation, it delivers a distinctive combination of sweetness, fruit and deep peat smoke.

Everything is made locally, without added colour and without chill‑filtration, ensuring a natural and genuine flavour experience.

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 opens with a rich and expressive aroma of warm honey, toasted grains and a hint of smoked meat. The deep peat smoke is accompanied by subtle maritime notes that underline its classic Campbeltown character.

The distillery is called Glengyle, but the whisky distilled at the distillery is named after another old Campbeltown name - Kilkerran.Springbank The distillery purchased and began renovating the old buildings in 2000 and began distilling again on March 25, 2004. When Springbank bought the Glengyle distillery, the original production equipment was long gone and new/old equipment had to be acquired.
