While its story started in South Africa, Elephant Gin is handmade in Germany with a focus on the highest quality production standards.

All ingredients are hand-selected, bottles custom-made, labels hand-written and production-controlled by small batches.

Inspiration

Reminiscing about the so-called ‘sundowner’ drinks after a day out in the South African bush. These sunset cocktails are a big tradition in South Africa – and more often than not, they consist of a G & T. The idea was backed by a mutual love of exotic African botanicals and a realization that would make it interesting addition to a premium gin, alongside more traditional botanicals such as juniper and orange peel.

Elephant Sloe Gin is perfect in a Sloe Gin Bramble cocktail. Elephant Sloe Gin is a new variant in the Elephant family. The sloe berries have been macerated in the original spicy and characteristic African Elephant Gin. The result is an incredibly warm and juicy gin that smells spicy of cinnamon, star anise, prunes and orange, while it has a pleasantly balanced almond/marzipan note from the sloe berries. In the mouth, the gin is full of flavor, but silky smooth and round. It is obvious to drink Elephant Sloe Gin neat.
