  The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky with no age statement, bottled at 40% ABV by Sovereign Brands in partnership with Pernod Ricard.

  The name "Deacon" is a Scottish term for a skilled master craftsman, and the blend was created as a tribute to the finest practitioners of any trade, a concept also reflected in the bottle's bold, industrial design.

  The Deacon launched in February 2023 as a newer addition to the modern blended Scotch scene, combining traditional malt and grain whiskies from several Scottish regions into an accessible and versatile blend.

  Tasting notes

  Nose

  Soft grain, honey and a light vanilla sweetness that welcomes without overwhelming.

  Palate

  Round and approachable, with caramel, apple and a hint of spiced oak.

  Finish

  Short to medium, mild and lightly sweet, well suited for everyday enjoyment.
