Buss Gin

This is a Belgian gin, born from a bartender's own thirst for something he couldn't find anywhere else.

About Buss No 509 Gin

Buss No 509 is a Belgian gin from Buss Spirits, created by Serge Buss, who ran his own cocktail bar in Antwerp for several years before turning to distillation. The series, called 'The Author Collection', started in 2013 with a Raspberry edition and has since expanded with several variants, all developed with both gin and tonic enthusiasts and professional bartenders in mind. For beginners, Buss No 509 offers an approachable, fruity entry into flavored gin, while connoisseurs appreciate the story of the bartender who built his own brand from years of experience behind the bar.

History & Background

Buss No 509 was created by Belgian Serge Buss, who ran his own cocktail bar in Antwerp for several years before deciding to translate his bar experience into his own gin recipes. The first release, Buss No 509 Raspberry Gin, saw the light of day in 2013 and became the starting shot for what Serge has since called 'The Author Collection'. The series was developed with two audiences in mind: enthusiasts who enjoy a good gin and tonic at home, and professional bartenders seeking characterful ingredients for their cocktails. From a single bar in Antwerp, Buss Spirits has thus grown into a Belgian gin house with a steadily expanding collection of flavored releases.

Production & Style

The gin is distilled from juniper and a composition of Nordic botanicals using classic methods.

Signature Style

Nordic, Fresh, Botanical
The flavor offers a fresh, Nordic character with clear botanical depth.
