  Kininvie 17 Years Old Batch 001 is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 42.6%. Batch 001 was, in 2016, the very first single malt Kininvie ever released under its own name, after decades in which the spirit was used exclusively in blends. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks, which highlight Kininvie's soft, fruity base character — a style closer to Balvenie than to Glenfiddich.

  Nose

  Ripe pears, honey and a light nutty aroma of almonds.

  Palate

  Soft and round, with tropical fruit, vanilla and a hint of spiced oak.

  Medium, soft and lastingly fruity.

  Most whisky drinkers have never tasted a single drop of Kininvie. Batch 002 is only the second time ever that the distillery has released its spirit as a stand-alone single malt.

  Kininvie 23 Years Old Batch 002 is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 42.6%. The whisky is matured for 23 years in ex-bourbon casks and represents a markedly older and rarer release than the debut Batch 001. Kininvie still uses the vast majority of its spirit for William Grant & Sons blends, so every stand-alone single malt release is the exception rather than the rule.
