Macbeth Whisky This excerpt from a blog post on Whisky.dk introduces an upcoming Scottish whisky project inspired by Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth. The initiative comes from the design studio Livingstone, led by Lexi Burgess, in collaboration with whisky producers Elixir Distillers, whisky writer Dave Broom, and illustrator Sir Quentin Blake. Broom has written character profiles to guide the whisky selection, while Sir Quentin Blake has created illustrations of the characters as anthropomorphic birds. Elixir Distillers, represented by Sukhinder Singh and Oliver Chilton, has taken on the task of translating the literary characteristics into distinct whiskies with unique flavour profiles.
