Chateau de Laubade Armagnac

Château de Laubade was a crumbling estate when Jean-Jacques Lesgourgues bought it in 1974 and set out to restore its name and reputation. Today the family runs its own vineyards and operates its own cooperage, felling and shaping the oak for its casks in-house – a rarity even within Armagnac. That makes Château de Laubade one of the few houses controlling the entire process from vine to cask.
