Inside the heritage listed facility, this rum has been Tropical matured in American Oak from the Column and the Copper Pot distillation process that follows after a 48-72-hour fermentation period from locally sourced molasses.

Dead Reckoning Rum builds its identity on the golden age of seafaring, when the navigator had to rely on experience rather than technology. The rum is imported in a limited number and appeals to those seeking a story about the sea rather than a familiar big brand.

History & Background

The concept behind the bottle honours the craftsmen of the sea – the navigators – drawing a line back to a time when a miscalculation could cost a ship dearly. There is only limited public documentation on the house behind it, but the theme is consistently carried through in both name and label.

Production & Style

The rum is a blend of Caribbean rum sources, matured in oak casks, giving it a warm, round character with a maritime, salty undertone in the finish.
