  The rum is distilled from molasses on both pot and column stills and has spent most of its ageing in a continental climate rather than Barbados's tropical heat. This gives the bottle a lighter, golden colour and a gentler, milder character than most other RomDeLuxe releases from Foursquare, where tropical ageing typically creates a darker, more intense profile. Only 214 bottles were drawn from this 19-year-old single cask.

  The result is an elegant, approachable rum where Foursquare's classic coconut and vanilla character appears in an unusually gentle guise.
