1787 is the birth year of House of Angostura's founder, and the name is the house's tribute to the long legacy behind this 15-year-old release.
Expert description
Angostura 1787 is a Premium Caribbean Rum from Trinidad, a blend of rums matured a minimum of 15 years, bottled at 40%.
The rum comes from House of Angostura, founded in Venezuela in 1824 and relocated to Trinidad in 1875. The 1787 expression is the house's flagship release among its age-stated rums, composed of selected rums matured at least 15 years, giving a luxurious, full-bodied character with complex fruitiness and a signature funk from ester-driven distillation that divides opinion between traditionalists and those who prefer a softer, more classic profile.

Finish
Long and warm with gentle oak spice and a fruity aftertaste that slowly fades.
