Cinnamon, cardamom and clove layered on top of a legendary Trinidad rum - Tamboo takes its name from the bamboo drums that once echoed through the streets of Port of Spain.
Expert description
Angostura Tamboo Spiced is a spiced Spirit Drink from Trinidad & Tobago based on Angostura rum, bottled at 40%.
Tamboo Spiced builds on Angostura's classic rum heritage and adds Caribbean spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and clove, naturally sweetened with sugar cane molasses. The name refers to "Tamboo Bamboo", the rhythmic bamboo drums used in Trinidad's street processions before steel pans took over in the 20th century - a tribute to the island's musical roots.
Behind the bottle is House of Angostura, founded in 1824 and today just as famous for its iconic aromatic bitters as for its rum. The distillery in Laventille, Trinidad, has spent decades distilling high-quality rum, and Tamboo Spiced is the house's answer to the growing demand for spiced rum styles.
