  The Historical Vintage 2024 is an exclusive Barley Wine at 11.3% from the legendary British beer name Thomas Hardy's Ale, inspired by 19th-century English brewing traditions. The beer was originally created in 1968 to mark the death of author Thomas Hardy, and after several hiatuses and revivals, it's brewed today by Hepworth & Co in West Sussex. This vintage is aged for several months on French oak casks, adding roasted and spiced complexity that rounds off the warm, sweet aromas.

  The colour is amber with bronze highlights, and the flavour profile offers notes of candied and boozy fruit, dried figs, fresh tobacco and chocolate, while a light caramel sweetness sits in the background.
