Dead Island 2 Whiskey is a limited collaboration edition from the historic Irish brand Dunville's, created to mark the launch of the video game Dead Island 2. The whiskey is a modern blend of pot still, malt and grain whiskey, matured in ex-bourbon casks.

History & Background

Dunville's was founded in Belfast in 1808 and was at its peak among the world's most famous whiskey brands, before the brand disappeared in 1936. It was revived in 2012 by Echlinville Distillery, which later created this special edition in collaboration with gaming giant Deep Silver, publisher of the Dead Island 2 series.

Production & Style

The whiskey is a blend of pot still, malt and grain whiskey, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV. The label features two of the game's zombie-slaying characters and a glow-in-the-dark logo.
