History & Background

The brewery in Southwold, Suffolk, has roots back to 1872, but it was only in 2010 that Adnams opened its own distillery next to the brewery, the first of its kind in Britain to combine brewing and distilling under one roof. The vodka builds on the same grain expertise that has defined the house's beer for decades.

The vodka is distilled from barley and wheat grown in the surrounding Suffolk fields, using a combination of pot still and column distillation.
