From the Deluxe Distillery in Belgium comes this powerful gin, where cubeb pepper is distilled separately and added afterwards to preserve its full, spicy character.
Expert's description
Blind Tiger Piper Cubeba Dry Gin is a Belgian Dry Gin, unaged and bottled at 47%.
The gin uses 15 botanicals, including juniper, coriander seed, malted barley, licorice, angelica root, orris root, lemon, sweet and bitter orange peel, orange blossom, ginger, green cardamom, cubeb berries, lavender and a secret Belgian botanical.
Most botanicals are macerated and distilled in a 400-litre copper pot still, while the cubeb pepper is double distilled separately and added afterwards to preserve its full strength.
The malted barley gives the gin a warm, long finish that sets it apart from more classic London Dry styles.
