Bowsaw is distilled and matured in northern Kentucky near the Ohio River, in Owensboro and Louisville, at distilleries with a combined 350 years of whiskey-making expertise. The name Bowsaw refers to the bow saw traditionally used by a cooper to cut the head pieces out of a whiskey barrel. The bourbon is made from a mash of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, matured in new charred American oak barrels.
