RoughStock Whiskey

The distillery is located in southwest Montana, right at the foot of the Bridger Mountains. Grains of particularly high quality and clear water from the many mountain streams that form when the snow melts from the snow-covered mountains are the basis of the exquisite spirits produced here.

Roughstock is Montana's first legal distillery since the end of Prohibition. Roughstock is named after a rodeo term that refers to "bare-back" horses and bull riding. Simply said, it means no saddle, lots of daring and extremely strong legs. Therefore, their unofficial mascot is also a cowboy.

Roughstock whiskey is probably as close to anything American as it can be.
