Each has different amounts of corn, rye, wheat and barley. The composition of these four different flavors is carefully monitored by distiller and co-founder of Roughstock Bryan Schultz. This bourbon is therefore his interpretation of the ideal Western Style Bourbon. The production of Roughstock Bourbon Mashen is distilled twice and aged for a minimum of two years in extra-fired new oak barrels. Each of the four recipes brings something special to the final whiskey. If you're not a cowboy who drinks it straight, this bourbon also works brilliantly in any kind of cocktail, such as an Old Fashioned.Tasting notes:Nose: An overwhelming explosion of barley and hay that evolves into toasted grain, vanilla and nuts.
