The strategy worked: today Clase Azul is one of the most recognisable luxury tequila brands in the world, and the hand-painted bottles have themselves become sought-after collector's items.

The tequila is distilled from 100% blue agave and matured in various cask types depending on the release, often for extended periods for extra depth.
