Every decanter is hand-painted, and no two look quite the same. This isn't just tequila in a bottle - it's a piece of Mexican craftsmanship you can drink from.

    Expert Description

Clase Azul Plata is a 100% Agave Mexican Plata Tequila bottled at 40%.

The brand was founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomelí, who set out to honour Mexican ceramic craftsmanship through his tequila. Each decanter is a handmade ceramic bottle inspired by traditional Talavera pottery, shaped and painted by hand by local artisans in Santa María Canchesda, Jalisco - a process that takes about two weeks per bottle, so no two bottles are ever quite alike. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, fermented with the house's own proprietary yeast, and double distilled. The Plata is unaged, showcasing the pure, fresh character of the agave.
