Mac-Talla is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, one of Scotland's most respected whisky families with more than five generations of experience in whisky production and bottling. The Morrison family previously owned the legendary Bowmore Distillery, and today they select, mature and bottle unique single malts under names including Mac-Talla. History & Background

The Morrison family owned Bowmore Distillery on Islay for much of the 20th century, until the distillery was sold in 1994. The experience and relationships built during that era were carried forward by the family into the newly established Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, where today they focus on selecting and bottling unique single malts rather than distilling themselves. The Mac-Talla series is the family's tribute to Islay's peated whisky tradition, and the name, meaning "echo," was deliberately chosen as a reference to the family's deep historical connection to the island.
