  Instead of steeping sloe berries in an already-distilled gin, Masons of Yorkshire adds the berries right at the start and distils them alongside the rest of the botanicals - a slower, but more integrated method.

  Masons Slow Distilled Sloe Gin is an English gin distilled with sloe berries and bottled at 42%.

  The gin is built on the same base as Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin The Original, but adds sloe berries during the distillation itself rather than letting them steep in the finished gin afterwards. The method produces a natural sweetness and a lingering dryness that sets it apart from many other sloe gins.

  The result is a complex hedgerow of flavour and aroma, where sweet blackberry and a touch of spice meet the sloe berry's characteristic tartness.

  Sweet blackberry and a touch of spice meet juniper and a hint of liquorice.

  Palate

  The palate is complex, with sloe berry and spice first, before juniper breaks through to balance the sweet, lingering berry fruit.
