In Cuba, this is the rum people actually drink day to day, not the tourist version, but the social, affordable classic.
Expert description
Ron Cubay Anejo is a Rum from Cuba, distilled from Cuban sugar cane molasses in column stills and matured 7 years in American white oak casks, bottled at 38%.
The rum is produced by Cuba Ron S.A. in Santo Domingo, Villa Clara, the same company behind Havana Club. The Ron Cubay brand was founded in 1964, but for decades was reserved exclusively for the Cuban domestic market and was only released for export in 2010. Anejo is the house's accessible everyday rum, popular in Cuba as a social and affordable classic.
