A blend with no age statement, no disclosed distilleries and no grand explanations – but with a charming little pig on the label, playing on the name while nodding to the classic hogshead cask of around 200 litres used throughout Scotland. The whisky is bottled at 43% and appears in the glass with a light amber colour that already hints at a gentle and approachable style.

  The aroma is far from the intense Islay smoke one might expect after hearing the rumours about its composition. Instead, you’re met with fresh oranges, a touch of pepper, soft smoke, mint and a light yeasty note that gives the nose a rounded and mellow character.
