Pinta was the fastest of Columbus's three ships. This rum lives up to the name with a fresh, easily accessible character.

    Expert description

Ron Cristobal Pinta is a Rum from the Dominican Republic, tropically matured 6 to 8 years and bottled at 40%.

The rum is named after Pinta, one of the three ships Christopher Columbus used to cross the Atlantic in 1492, and takes a place in the range as a younger, more accessible sister to Niña. It is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, the Dominican Republic's largest alcohol producer, using exclusively Dominican crops, and is tropically matured, which accelerates the ageing process.
