    Item no.: 2222786539-1263

    Greenalls Sloe Gin from England

Greenall's Greenall's Sloe gin is produced by macerating sloe berries over many months in Greenall's Original London Dry Gin and adding a little sugar afterwards. The result is a likør that is tart, but rich in sloe fruit and finely balanced with notes of Greenall's gin. Greenall's Sloe gin is traditionally enjoyed during the cold winter months, when it is drunk neat - and often among hunters. However, the Americans believed that Sloe Gin should also be enjoyed in the summer and invented the Sloe Gin Fizz, which is made with Sloe Gin, citrus and soda water. Greenall's Sloe Gin offers many possibilities and is now used worldwide as an ingredient in exciting cocktails. Try a splash of Sloe gin in your G&T. The Greenall family is one of England's mercantile family dynasties. Today, Greenall's is the UK's largest producer of quality gin, but the journey has not been without drama. In 2005, the majority of the buildings on the estate burned down. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in time to save the production area, and with a wholehearted effort from all employees, the old stills were saved and production rebuilt in just one week. Joanne Moore is the world's only female distiller of quality gin. Joanne works according to years of tradition, but enjoys the challenge of developing new types of gin-based products.
