Cedar Ridge Single Malt Whiskey Handcrafted Small Batch USA is the distillery's handmade single malt, bottled at 40%. Cedar Ridge Distillery was founded in 2005 by Jeff and Laurie Quint and was the first licensed distillery in Iowa since Prohibition. Jeff Quint is a ninth-generation farmer and fermenter whose family roots trace back to German immigrants who arrived in the US in 1881, and the family's own farm-grown grain forms the basis of the whiskey.
