This rum is from Barbados and more specifically the distillery Mount Gay. It has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, which have had an angels share of >65%. It is bottled at cask strength of 59%. The name is a tribute to the family that owned Mount Gay for more than 100 years. The Ward family. Just before the family sold the distillery, the last owner made this special rum. It was then named Last Ward. It has no added sugar.
