Thornæs The 5 Pedros Fad 064 is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 50% from Thornæs Distillery in North Zealand. The whisky is part of The 5 Pedros series – five individual Pedro Ximenez sherry casks bottled separately to showcase the difference from cask to cask within the same cask type. Fad 064 carries its individual PX character: the intense sweetness of raisins and dark fruit combined with the freshness of the organic North Zealand distillate. Bottled without dilution at 50%.

Tasting notes

Nose

PX sherry's typical raisin and dark chocolate notes with a fresh underpinning from the organic distillate. Slightly different from Fad 066 – the sister cask.

Palate

Rich and fruity PX sweetness at 50% with figs and dried fruit. The single cask quality gives it a unique personality that belongs only to this cask.

Finish

Long and dark with dried fruit and a persistent, deep PX chocolate close.
