A handcrafted cask made from Jutland oak gives our classic Spelt‑Rye a distinctive character. The whisky has a full and aromatic nose with notes of fresh wood, vanilla, grain, honey and a light herbal tone, typical of Thy Whisky’s organic barley and slow distillation. Danish oak adds notes of red liquorice, redcurrant, baking spices and fresh oak shavings.

The finish is long, dry and warm with clear traces of Danish oak, grain, pepper and a lightly smoky or earthy undertone, often found in Thy Whisky’s style. The overall impression is balanced, but with a raw and natural edge that makes the whisky both characterful and authentic.
