Bodegas Gutierrez Colosia Sherry Moscatel Soleado - A very sweet and intense Sherry produced exclusively from sun-dried Moscatel grapes. A great experience - especially as an accompaniment to good and sweet desserts. Pure candy for adults. The wine has a golden mahogany color. The taste is bold, sweet and intense but also with a little well-intentioned bite that gives the wine backbone. The aftertaste is deliciously sweet with a fresh fruity finish. A wonderful dessert wine that can be paired with many sweet dishes, such as ice cream, chocolate cakes or fruit tarts. The wine can also be used with good cheeses. Should be served chilled, preferably straight from the fridge.

Bodegas Gutierrez Colosia Sherry PX Pedro Ximenez is a full-bodied sweet wine made 100% from the Pedro Ximénez grape. A dark and sweet sherry with a raisiny nose and a deep concentration on the palate. It is sweet, bold and pruney in texture. The wine is produced from sun-dried PX grapes. A great sherry experience that is suitable for many great sweet desserts.

From the traditional house of Ximenez-Spinola in Jerez comes this unique brandy, crafted with a focus on quality and craftsmanship rather than mass production. The house is renowned for its exclusive use of the Pedro Ximénez grape, and this brandy is also based on it, providing a distinctive roundness and sweet depth.

The brandy is aged using the Solera method in former sherry casks, adding notes of dried fruit, nuts, and spices. The name “Solera Danesa” refers to a special line of ageing casks in the winery’s cellars, where the brandy develops its characteristic fullness and complexity.

A brandy for true connoisseurs – perfect for slow enjoyment after a fine meal, ideally paired with a cigar or a piece of dark chocolate.

The aroma has unmistakable notes of plums and raisins. The taste is smooth with a slight sweetness that hides the alcohol and gives the brandy a pleasant and rounded aftertaste.

The Ximenez-Spinola winery was founded in 1729 by Phelipe Zarzana Spinola, and from the very beginning it was dedicated to exclusively producing Pedro Ximenez. At the time, the winery bottled the wine under the name Zarzana Spinola, but as this name was a challenge, if not impossible to pronounce in English, a large English customer demanded that they change it to Ximenez - Spinola, which they have since done.
Today, they still make wines exclusively from Pedro Ximenez, and although they are still very traditional in their vinification, they try to experiment with the grape type so that they don't just make sherry. One example is the Late Harvest, which is the only one of its kind in the district.

What makes Spinola Brandy Criaderas exceptional is the use of chestnut barrels during the aging process. Until the Spanish Civil War in 1939, there was a tradition of using chestnut barrels in Spain, but as a large part of the forest areas were cut down during the war, the coopers then increasingly switched to using American oak and eventually stopped using chestnut wood altogether. The barrels at Bodegas Spinola are all a minimum of 70 years old and therefore only release a very limited amount of tannin, which gives the brandy a rounder and softer flavor.

Vinification
The wine that is distilled is taken from a Solera that was started in 1984. It is distilled on a pot still before the spirit is poured into used chestnut wood barrels where it is aged for a minimum of 12 years
