Ximénez-Spínola Jerez Seco Serie 2 is a dry sherry from a bodega otherwise almost exclusively known for its sweet Pedro Ximénez fortified wines.
Expert's Description
Ximénez-Spínola Jerez Seco Serie 2 is a Spanish Sherry with an alcohol content of 17%. "Seco" means dry, making this release an unusual departure from the bodega's signature style, as Ximénez-Spínola is primarily specialised in the sweet Pedro Ximénez grape. With only 2,592 bottles produced, this is one of the house's rarer and more experimental releases, showing a different side of the bodega's craftsmanship than the classic PX fortified wines.

Investment Potential
Medium. A dry sherry from a house world-renowned for its sweet PX fortified wines is a rarity in itself, and the limited production of under 2,600 bottles makes Jerez Seco Serie 2 interesting for collectors seeking breadth in their Ximénez-Spínola collection.
Did You Know?
Ximénez-Spínola is so closely tied to the sweet PX style that a dry sherry from the house is a genuine rarity - most of the bodega's bottles are sold under the fortified wine designation rather than the dry sherry category.
