Discarded Grape Skin Chardonnay VodkaThe starting point for Discarded Grape Skin Chardonnay Vodka is that all the parts of the wine-making process that are normally discarded are distilled and used as the base for this vodka. Here it is the skins, stems and seeds, also known as the pomace or press star.

This base is then blended with another equally unique ingredient, wine alcohol. When you remove the alcohol from the wine, you get the so-called "wine alcohol", which contains lots of flavor from the Chardonnay grapes. Here, the distillery has chosen to use this concentrate for their vodka instead of throwing it away.
