Driftless Glen Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey is made from a rye-dominant mash bill, mashed, distilled and bottled at the distillery, bottled at 48%. Driftless Glen Distillery was founded in 2012 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, by Brian and Reneé Bemis, who scoured the country for a place with the right grain and water for bourbon and rye — and found it in the Driftless Area, a part of Wisconsin the glaciers of the last ice age bypassed. The distillery is housed in a restored 1800s building on the Baraboo River, near Circus World, and produces its whiskey grain-to-glass from local grain and water.
