This rum is a 50th anniversary rum made in a limited edition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Oliver family's (the producer) immigration to the Dominican Republic from Cuba. Like most rums from the Dominican top producer Oliver & Oliver, this rum is composed of a blend of younger and older distillates, which are blended with a so-called mother rum of 25 years before being solera-aged.
