Lervig Rackhouse Quebecois Maple Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 37.5 cl 12.2%

Last year, Lervig put their chocolate Original Sin base in barrels that had been used to store maple syrup in Quebec, Canada. The remaining syrup in the barrels gives a confectionery punch to this imperial stout. This is balanced by tobacco and toasted oak notes from the wood that was originally used for bourbon. A delicate note of maple syrup rounds out this complex and sinfully rich beer.
