Luxardo's Maraschino is a clear Italian cherry liqueur at 32% ABV, produced by Luxardo in Torreglia from Marasca cherries.

Luxardo was founded in 1821 by Girolamo Luxardo in Zara on the Dalmatian coast and moved in 1947 to Torreglia in the Euganean Hills, where the family today runs the distillery in its sixth generation. The Maraschino is made by distilling whole Marasca cherries - fruit, stones and leaves - after which the liqueur matures in ash-wood vats before being lightly sweetened and diluted to strength.

The nose is clean and aromatic with notes of cherry, almond and a light herbal dryness. The palate is clear and elegant with a fine balance between fruit sweetness and a dry, lightly bitter stone-fruit note, finishing clean and refreshing without becoming cloying.
