Luxardo was founded in 1821 in Zara and has been based in Torreglia near Padua since 1947, where the family carried on the historic recipes after the Second World War. The Raspberry edition is built on the classic sambuca base of aniseed distillate, with a fruity raspberry aroma added that provides a sweet, tart counterpoint to the aniseed's sharpness.
