Lustau is among the most respected names in Jerez, and the same care the house puts into its sherry carries through into this vinegar. It's sherry wine that's been allowed to mature further - from drink to a concentrated, aromatic seasoning.
Expert's Description
Lustau Vinagre de Jerez Reserva is a Sherry Vinegar from Jerez, Spain, made from sherry wine matured in the solera system.
The vinegar develops further from the aged sherry wine into a concentrated, aromatic vinegar with real depth - far beyond ordinary table vinegar. It clearly carries the imprint of the Oloroso and Amontillado styles, and the natural sweetness from the slow, oxidative ageing gives warmth and balance, while a nutty undertone makes it both powerful and harmonious.

Did You Know?
Sherry vinegar matures in the same solera system as the sherry itself - a method where younger and older batches are continuously blended through a series of barrels, giving the vinegar an even, complex character.
