This limited edition whisky celebrates the end of the year – a time for togetherness, reflection, and looking forward to the future. Inspired by the New Year traditions of Jerez de la Frontera, where Macallan’s sherry-seasoned casks originate, this edition highlights the region’s culture and the whisky as a festive companion.

Crafted by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team, the whisky is matured in a carefully balanced combination of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry. This maturation imparts a complex and nuanced profile.

The color is described as burnt orange. The nose reveals notes of honey-drenched pestiños, sweet raisins, cinnamon, anise, rich oak, and fresh citrus. The palate features sweet pastry, white grapes, honey-glazed almonds, vanilla, balanced spices, and a hint of fresh rosemary. The finish is sweet, vibrant, and warming.

The packaging, designed by local artist María Melero, captures the essence of Jerez with colorful azulejo tiles and symbols representing the region’s culture and Macallan’s heritage. This whisky is perfect for New Year celebrations and makes an excellent gift for collectors and enthusiasts.
