Bivrost Yggdrasil 2024 is crafted by the world’s northernmost distillery in the cold landscapes of Norway. This whisky is made from Nordic malted barley, melted glacier water, and undergoes a complex fermentation process. Yggdrasil has matured in Oloroso casks and the distillery’s own in-house charred barrels, stored within their Viking-style longhouse at freezing temperatures. The Arctic temperature fluctuations impact the whisky’s maturation, with an average yearly temperature of 0.6°C.
