The nose is caressed with notes of citrus, red apple and orange, balanced with a hint of caramel. Rich on the palate, with hints of cloves and nutmeg, vanilla and caramel, and a long finish of roasted nuts. The whisky is primarily Highland malt with a touch of Speyside and Islay to add a little something extra. The malt to grain ratio is 55% in favor of malt and it is bottled at the classic 50% alcohol. This bottling is for all those spice lovers out there. The nose is full of citrus, red apples and tangerines with a hint of caramel. Very lively and fresh with effervescent notes - an excellent balance! On the palate, you'll find nutmeg and cloves with sweetness from vanilla and barley sugar. In the aftertaste, hot pepper, gentle nutty notes and roasted marshmallows emerge. A fantastic dram, the whisky is inspired by the hardy breed of Scottish Highland cattle, also known as Kyloe. This breed of cattle is known to live in the bitter and windswept highlands and islands of Scotland.
