It gets its name because it is made from a specific variety of agave, namely agave Karwinskii and more specifically the sub-variety Cuishe. It gives flavor notes of citrus in particular, and may seem dry at first, but it slowly moves into a more fresh note of tropical fruit and sweet potato.
