The spirit of exploration, bottled. The Explorer 2015 shows Box Distillery's (today High Coast) experimental side, back when it was still laying the groundwork for its later reputation.

    The Expert's Description

Box Whisky The Explorer 2015 is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky from the Swedish Box Distillery, today known as High Coast Distillery, bottled at 48.3%.

This release marks the distillery's exploration of new maturation methods and cask experiments, matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and select sherry casks. The combination gives a fine balance between sweetness, spice and oak character, resulting in a whisky of complexity and depth.
