Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 40% Whiskey from the USA is a unique bourbon that comes from the distillery of the same name. The distillery is located on the old buffalo trail - hence the name. On the nose, you'll find a big aroma, with lots of spice, gentle vanilla notes and sweet mint. When it comes to the taste, you get almost a roaring sweetness followed by vanilla, rich oak. The corn is "thick" and the rye peeks out in the background. Super nice aftertaste that almost dries out in the mouth, but then the rye comes back and gives extra length and hints of licorice. This particular whisky comes from the Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay, a site with a proud history dating back to its founding in 1881. Only 272 bottles were produced from this specific cask. The whisky has matured entirely in a sherry hogshead, with no added colour, ensuring a pure and authentic flavour profile.
